These are some shots i made from my hotel's room window in Trieste (Italy): i used a long exposure (6-8 sec) and the f8.0 aperture at ISO100.
What do you think? Here you can see the Miramare's Castle. |

In this one i tried to catch 3 turns of the lighthouse but the max exposure time of the FZ20 is 8 sec and the third turning was after 9 sec!

Very nice the first one.
Too few light in the #2,3: I would have opened it to F5,6 if not more (although by doing so you miss the star-like lights effect) |

Ok...I tried to catch the same subject but with the aperture suggested by Narmer:
f5.6 for the lighthouse and f4.0 for the harbour. I found that the shots have more light (as expected) but a higher red dominance: maybe i needed to adjust something in my fz20 settings? I have another question: when in manual mode (Fz20) how do you adjust the exposure compensation? Is it full auto? Thx! |
