I took this picture on vacation at Ballyvaughan, County Clare. I think it turned out pretty well. It was taken using FZ7's night scenery. I do mess alot around with the manual settings, but the scenery functions also works pretty well. I've retouched some artificial lighting out, didn't add anything to the picture. Enough talking.

Great shot, I love the color, the cloud texture, and the siluate. My only reccomendation would be to crop out some of the ground, on some shots this space can help balance the shot or to set the perspective, but in this shot it's not necesary.
I'm just got an FZ7 and I'm glad to see my camera can take pictures like this, Nathaniel |

Nice scene harritsoe. You captured the end of the day calmness perfectly.Your shotmakes me wish I were sitting in my rocker on the front porch, relaxing after a long day.
We hear so much about no low light preformance in the FZ's that we sometimes forget that the camera will take shots like this. Usually, all that is needed are the correct settings. Enjoyed your post. Don |

Thank you for the kind words!
The article was very surprising and interesting. Although I've heard about this phenomena before, I haven't read in-depth information about it. It seems they form at the edge of earths atmosphere, and reflects the sunlight. Being a space-science enthusiast makes it so much more interesting. |
