One of the better bird pics I have been able to get with FZ20. I saw this Osprey sitting atop a power pole in a place I would never have expected to see one. This was probably around 60 ft. distance.

Nice one, VP! Did he ask for any McNuggets or tartar sauce with that?
Looks like it was a little blown out on the white crown but, hey, I'd die for a photo this crisp...! Close distances definitely makes up for a lot of zoom issues! |

Thanks guys.
All things considered it was a pretty decent shot. It was definitely a bright day and in full sun. Have been fighting the zoom issues also,and it's not often I get this close. I need more free time to increase the chances!!! Along with some additional equipment, not to mention additional practice..:-) |
