Osprey Poster help please!!!!!
Our Heron Lake State Park is having its 2nd or 3rd Osprey Festival in July. One of the rangers asked me to bring down my idea for the poster for this year. If you were going to deliver 1 of the two which one would you take. Thanks in advance Number 1 ![]() Number 2 ![]() |

#2 suggests action, #1 looks rather passive (but it is a nice portrait). I think the action shot is a better attention-getter; it implies getting out and seeing birds in their regular activities. #1 looks like it could be a poster for a bird sanctuary. Given a choice, I'd rather see the birds in action than in captivity.

I prefer #1 as lay-out but #2 for its flying "active" image.
What about preparing a mixture of 1st design withouta portrait but with a flying one. |

Poster Decision
