I haven't seen many reviews on the Digital Camera-Panasonic DMC-TZ1S, 5 megapixel, 10x optical zoon, 4x digital zoom. I've read it's more important to have a higher optical zoom than digital zoom for better picture quality and focus. One draw back is it doesn't have a manual option but I'm not an expert on shooting pictures so what is really important for the money? Thanks.:?

Did you see this review?
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/panasonictz1/ You are correct about optical zoom being the most important ,(digital zoom can be done with the computer) and while I do not think I would buy a camera without manual controls and focus, the amount of time I use them is very small. |
