I'd like to buy a camera and I'd like to know wich one is better: Panasonic FX8 vs Canon SD600.
Any suggestions? Thanks Claudio |

I would get the fx01 - currently lowest price $238 here. It has a 28-102mm lens vs the sd600 35-105mm. That 28mm wa is a definte advantage. The fx01 optical image stabilization (OIS) is also a huge factor allowing for handheld shots at 1/10s and even slower. The sd600 is notimage stabilized. They are both 6mp and about the same size. They both have 2.5" lcds but the fx01 resolution is greater; 207,00 pixels to 173,000.
The fx8 is only about $10 cheaper than the fx01 and doesn't have the 28mm lens and is 5mp. The fx01 is the clear winner. |
