Also keep in mind that while FUJI does have considerably less noise, its images are 'smeared' with a whitish substance. The images are very detailed...but will look a tad 'softer' than what the Pany will deliver.

Turn the noise control off and sharpening on and shoot at the highest shutter speed possible. If you are in low light a tripod helps. Also, shoot at 200 ISO and lower. The noise I've seen with this camera occurs on long exposures or with cropping. I've taken some incredible low light indoor pics with this camera using these techniques.
