Peace in the valley or The Great Chama, New Mexico Hummingbird war is over
News!!! Chama, New Mexico Hummingbird War - Truce declared I asked for a unconditional surrender but the best I could get was the imported hummers would leave within 60 days, a truce to end the hunting and shooting. Being the peace loving individual that I am I said OK. Here are the last of the Great Chama, New Mexico Hummingbird War Photos. Now it is time to get back to revenue work. Two at a time. Doesn't scare me. I continued pressing the shutter. ![]() A scout looking for the Panasonic FZ30 ![]() Resting after a hard day of hiding from the camera ![]() The shade feels good after a hard day in the sun. ![]() Thinking about going back to Mexico ![]() This is the 3rd and last of my Great Chama, New Mexico Hummingbird War Series. 1st thread http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=23 2nd thread http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=23 |

Very good series roger. Don't know how you manage to catch them sitting still.

Hi Roger,
Great series. I missed this one for some reason. I'm glad I found it! Very cool shots and a lot of fun following the saga of the humming bird wars. Thank you for sharing these little jewels of the air with us. I have only seen a humming bird in real life two times in my life. They are one of my favorite birds too. Teree ![]() |

Hi Teree, thanks for the nice words.
I had a lot of fun trying to get photos of them. Of course I try to have a lot of fun no matter what I am trying. gotta.learn wrote: Quote:
