It seems you had a good day, a bit of everything. Really like number 9. Hope you feel better today.

Beth, if that is what you call practice, I can't wait to get to that level. Very, Very nice. Love the ones of the ducks with their tails in the air, must be super clear water. And all the rest are super. also.

Admirable post, hard to find a weak photo: all of them are great for a different reason.
What lens did you use for the Jumping Spider macro? |

Thank you all so very much. I am very encouraged. I was initially exploring macros with my new FZ5 I got in July because little things were in and around the house and I didn't have to go out anywhere (which I couldn't do much of at the time) and now I am trying to move into different areas.
Narmer, I used the Raynox 250 for the Jumper. I don't know if this is clear but he is set against a window screen and so he is quite small. I tend to use the 250 on the really small Jumpers and have been happy with it so far. I did run the little fella through Neat Image and then some curves in PS. I was so tickled by his pose in this one. I almost shook his paw for it. heh heh.... Again thanks, I enjoy this forum and seeing everyone's work is inspiring to me. #5 I've seen a lot of pics of upturned ducks,
but this is the first time I've been able to see their heads too. Cool capture ! perfect timing on #3 I love #9 the soft focus and motion lines make it a misty memory for me. Great color and detail in the flowers ! as for your 4 eyed furry friend, excellent macro ! Thank you ! |
