I am sure this is somewhere on the board but I was not able to find it. I take a lot of pictures of sporting event and random people in the crowd. I do not sell my pictures but sometimes post them for help in photo shop etc...
Do I need to have a release from these people or is that only if I was to sell the pictures? What do you all think? |

Not sure where you live but most places in the States follow this rule: If a person is in a public place when you photograph him/her then no release is required for you to use the picture. I think the only possible problem that might present itself is if you were to use the picture on a porn page or in some other degrading way that bordered on slander. Jim
