Hi all !

I'm sorry I haven't posting at the forum as i've been away for the last couple of weeks on training. Work is still driving me into the ground - everything at this new company is being monitored esp internet usage so even checking the forums in the office is now a no no. I did manage to get an evening for pict takign after work last week and went down to the river Thames, near Hammersmith (West London).

Here's the first pict - The rowing boat.

Hi ! .. I realised a lot of you guys put the pictures up on a white background and looks nice. How can I do the same? Hiroshi does some nice frames. Any suggestions for softwares? I do have Photoshop 7.

Oh yeah nice pictures. I like the football one ! :)

Nice shots.

3 & 4 are my favorites. Love the reflection of the clouds in #4:cool:

Hope your work slows down a bit so you have more time to post your photos.

For these picts esp I had to reset the FZ10 as I was finding that the cam was not taking picts liek it was before esp with focusing correctly and with excessive noise. I then set everything to low (colour, saturation and sharpness), ISO 50, manual whitebalance and to spot metering. I always shoot in manual mode and for the 1st two picts I then metered off the pavement as that was as close as I can get to neutral grey and then set the exposure to -2/3 to -1.

All picts that I posted are uncropped just resized in PS, with USM of 50%, Contrast set to approx. 10%, and in levels - just adjusting the whitepoint if needed.

Here's two more picts, both taken before resetting the cam:

1. Relaxing
