One of my favorite parts of camping is the evening campfire. Here are some photos I took with my FZ20 while sitting by the fire.

Very impressive. All the fires for camping and cookouts I've done I have never considered taking photos of the fire itself. There is so much to be learned here. I really like the way you captured the fire down to the charred wood. Way to go.
P.S. Did you see the steeple URL I posted for you on your post Steeples? |

I really ejoyed your campfire pictures. Beautiful! I shared a campfire on the beach with my family and friends a couple of weekends ago. Very cozy. Donna

I can only agree with the others - so different and so effective. You are one of those on the Forum who have the "eye". I only wish I had the ability....Fred

Great pictures Ladyhawk. I love campfires and love to take pictures of them even more. One trick that I have used over the years is to go into manual mode and play with the shutter speed. If you start aboout 1/500th or faster you will be amazed at the pictures that you get. It's fun to play with the differant speeds and zoom settings.
Have fun!! John |
