Hello everyone, just checking to see if anyone out there has this tripod or knows anything about this one. I need it for my FZ20. My problem with my previous tripod was that it was so flimsy that it could barely hold the camera still. This one sounds like it might be a bit more solid, but still portable.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"thanks for all your inputs in advance

Don't have an opinion on the tripod itself (sorry, no experience there!) but it's pretty sad when the item purchased costs 25% less than the shipping !

Since you already understand the value of a good quality tripod,I think you may want to pass on that.

I have not tried it but I have seen several threads about the Amvona tripods and it seems you can find much better tripods.

Maybe I expect too much but I have 2 tripods neither of which are much good and now am saving up for a B/M,

Isaw this ad from Newegg which seems to be a good deal.

I have not used this one but it is from a good mfg.

This would be about 50 bucks more at B&H wiith the QR plate.
