Hi guys, I think I have some problem with my fz5, and need your help.

Sorry for long posted and for my english;)

Tonight when I set Power Save on,used 1 and 2 minutes as always, then back from menu to shooting mode, then I pushed the shutter halfway to pre focus, I held the shutter that way to kept the focusstill and waited for the subject I wanted, butsurprised to find that the Power Save was activated.., eventhough I was very sure that the focus indicator was still green for the last seconds before it was suddenly being off by the Power Save...!!?, it was the same story at the second and next tried and I watched them for sure.

Is this normal ??, or only with my camera ?

but from what I remembered, before tonight, the camerahas always been on whenI continuously pushed the shutter halfway in keeping the focus.., what's wrong with my camera????????

Need your opinion very soon gentlemen, thanks:(

Power Save set to 2 minutes. Half-pressed shutter to focus. Green focus lit. Held the half-press for 2 minutes. Green focus stayed lit. At 2 minutes the Power Save auto-activated. Continued to hold the half-press. The lens retracted (I think) and the LUMIX logo came on the lcd. Continued to hold half-press. The camera started up again but the green focus wasn't lit. Released half-press and and then half-pressed again and the green focus came on.

I tried the same thing with my FZ3. I had the same results as Fred . If you have to wait a long time for the opportunity to take the shot, you might have to turn off the power save function so your camera doesn't shut down on you. Good luck.
