I want to buy a protective filter for my new FZ1. Can anyone tell me where to get a good quality one at a reasonable price?
Thanks! |

If you're not in a rush, I would check out eBay. I got a Teffen ND, UV, and Skylight filter set, used, perfect condition to protect that Leica for $10 (plus shipping) on eBay. I was the only bidder. Can't beat that with a stick.

I use a 55mm Quantaray(made by Hoya?) multicoated uv filter I got at a Ritz store for ~$25. I've had it for a year nowand keep it on all the time and get great color and clarity.

Thisfilter is onsale at Ritz now for $17. Just bought one. Thanks for the affirmative comment!
BTW, the Ritz salesperson said they are made by Sigma. Does anyone know whether this is actually true? (I've also heard they're made by Tiffen, and Hoya.) |
