Question about vignetting on FZ150

Lucky owners of FZ150, do you ever see darkish corners when taking pictures of the sky or other uniform backgrounds using various zoom ranges? Anything that looks like this?

You cant do anything about that its due to the shape of the lens. And the longer the zoom the more vignetting you are going to experience.

The photo I attached was taken with Canon SX40. I suspect it's defective, but I've also heard what you said from other owners of long zooms. With the canon I have, dark corners are inconsistent and can happen at any focal lengths. I'm thinking about returning it while I can and getting FZ150 and was wondering is same thing happens with FZ150.

G'day SD

I see your concerns mate > tho I have got this identical result on my old Panny FZ38 as well as when using the Pentax + the Sigma 28-300 lens

It is a basic fact of life - basic optics etc etc that light falls away in the corners and the sensor is extremely adept at showing it to us

Bottom line - live with it
