Default Quick flash diffuser

Hi, I just wanted share a trick somebody showed me a long time ago. I posted this on another unnamed forum a litttle while ago in answer to a concern about the flash being too bright on a member's camera. If you want a diffuser that is always at hand, you can try this trick. Pick up an old Fuji film canister - the translucent kind(I don't know if you can still find them). I simply went to a CVS drugstore that develops film and asked them if they had any extras and they gave me a handful of them. Cut the end off the canister and make a cut down one side. You can then slide it over your flash and have a quick access diffuser. The neat thing about this is that you can simply slide it over your camera strap to store it and always have it handy. You might have to wrap a rubber band around it tightly for a few hours to form it into shape so that it will stay in place. See pictures below.

This is a picture of my old trusty FZ7 that I have used for many years that I took with my FZ200 I just got a couple of weeks ago.
