I have had the FZ4 for a few weeks (got it super cheap) but I have only used it for nighttime sports and indoor sports.
Tomorrow I will get the first opportunity to take pictures in a daylight (noon) football game (UCF vs. Tulsa, Conference USA Championship game). I will be on the sidelines. What is the best ISO setting for a bright daylight game -- should I leave it on AUTO or put it at 64, 100 or 200? I will experiment with the shutter speed tomorrow on the fly... 1/100 or so was usually the best I could for nighttime shots. Here a couple examples of nighttime pics. Any other general tips? |
