Thanks for the reply! I have shot quite a few RAW vs TIFF comparison files in the past couple weeks. I bring them up side-by-side in Photoshop, blow them up 5 times the originaland, I can not tell the difference, as far as sharpness is concerned. A slight difference in contrast and saturation is noticeable but I guess that should be expected.The FZ-30 does a good job ofhandling White Balance, etc., etc., in the camera. Seems like shooting in RAW just adds more work for me, it doesn't improve the picture quality much, if any. But, I'm open for suggestions!
