Returning home today on I-49, wife driving, we passed this. I snapped it when we came along aside at 70 mph. Wish I could have gotten all of it. I sure it is a Hudson, but not sure of the year, except I believe it dates to the 40"s. Maybe somebody here knows.

I think you are right with the Hudson. I googled a 1948 and it looks close.

wow...what a neat car!!! guess down where u are gerry, as I recall when I lived there, cars last so much longer as you do not have that ice and junk put on the highways to combat the ice and snow!!!!

Thanks Ted, Annie, and Roger. I think Ted has it about right. My wife told me she thought she saw Hudson on it. And best I could recall was the late 40's. Though there were quite a few still around well into the 50's and 60's. A few I remember were the Studebaker, Packard, Kaiser, and Henry J., and later the Edsel. Haven't seen these in years. I am sure I am forgetting a few others.
