Lovely photo Raghu, the background really brings out the colour of the flower and the rich green of the leaves. We have one of the pink variety indoors, it produces beautiful flowers but they only last a day... I hope yours lasts longer !

Thank you, John. I appreciate your comments, as well as those of Carol, Killerwolf, Jim and Alex. As you say, it is a pity they last a very short time. As for the other flower posted under 'Encore', it was a bud when I left for work, was in full bloom in the evening when I came back and that is when I captured it, and had shrunk by night fall. I am glad I came home on time that day!
