i'm still on the road, but finally someplace with wi-fi access again. after 4 days of no contact with most of the world, it feels like i've just gotten back to civilization! anyway, here's a small sample of the stuff i got at the place i was staying. these have had np PP done at all, other than resizing and sharpening, since my laptop doesn't have Photoshop or NeatImage, so bear with them...
this is sunrise at Redfish Lake... ![]() here's a shot from the side of the road on the way to the lake... ![]() this is McGown Peak, about 15 miles from the lake... the haze in the air is smoke from forest fires burning in the area... this was the best it got! the next several days were largely pea soup, made landscape photos all but impossible... ![]() this last one is a shot i took on the shore of the lake Wednesday morning. the smoke had made the sun so red, everything looked like copper. i saw the sun reflected in a pool of water along the shore, and couldn't pass up the shot... :G ![]() |

As usual, topnotch. Who needs PP when they can do photos like these. I would be damm well satisfied. Oh well, I'm still in photography kindergarten.

Yet another person that needs to keep the camera with themat all times.
![]() And I would have to second the comment on post-production. P.S. I'm still struggling with my decision to go prosumer or DSLR. What camera is this please. |

To the Hotel, Roger, when I went to school, there was no such thing as preschool. One got that at home.
