Hi all,
Just wondering about your thoughts on the new Ultra II with built in USB. Anybody using it in a Panasonic FZ series Camera? ![]() Thanks much in advance for your reply. FYI...Quick scan of reviews seems largely positive for the USB SD. |

I picked one up a while back and have been using it for a while now. I didn't really need the USB capability since I have a card reader. I got it to go with my Archos Gmini 402. Basically, I can fill up the SD USB card, then swap a regular card into the camera and connect the SD USB card to my Gmini and transfer the images to its 20 GB hard drive. When it's done transferring, I can clear the card and fill it up again.
Without the SD USB card, I could have just connected the camera directly to the Gmini to transfer the images, but then I have to wait for it to finish before continuing to shoot. I can let the SD USB transfer while tucked into the Gmini's leather belt pouch. |
