Hi there
My old Fujifilm Finepix digitalis about to bite the dustand it's time for a newmodel. I've done my research and I think the Panasonic Lumix FX01is the one for me. I liked the Fuji software for transferring from camera to laptop and keeping photos date labelled and in obvious folders. I also liked the slideshow feature. What software do you get with the Panasonic DMC FX01? How does it work and archive photos? I've decided this isn't really a 'wot camera' question so apologies...may post elsewhere too! Thanks |

I actually don't use any of the Pany software (Fz5) I take my SD card and put it in a cheap card reader and use http://picasa.google.ca/to download to my PC. I like how it organizes and has excellant edit capabilities as well as slideshow and its free.
Using a card reader instead of plugging the camera in certainly saves wear and tear on the camera and it safer and faster. For more involved editing I use Photoshop Elements. The other program usually bundled is the panoramer maker. Ifind Autostitch to be a much more powerful tool thgan the Pany one. I therefore deleted all panasonic software from my PC. I am assuming fx01 is bundled with the same software as my FZ5 was. Brian |
