Some shots with my new DMC-FZ35, and some observations.

This is what I have found so far

Camera controls are easy to use, I like the joystick :)

The battery door feels sturdy, compared to some

Camera feels plastic, but solid,

The EVF looks like its running at 10 to 15 frames per second, and it
needs an rubber eyepiece,

Macro mode is easy to use, but I end up holding the camera at
odd angles sometimes, so an articulating lcd would be nice,
BTW I had an easy-er time with a smaller point and shoot doing
macro shots, the smaller point and shoot were easy-er to hold
and get into position

All the gripes are minor, its a nice camera :)

Here are a few images I have taken so far, I will add more later

One the other side, I am trying to get the hang of the manual focus control. I kinda which it had a wheel. When I move the joystick, it seems to stick for a moment then shoot to the other range in the focus.

That's my only issue so far with the cam besides battery life that seems a bit short compared to my Canon SX110 IS with top of the line NiCads. But I have 4 batteries now.

The joystick seamed to work fine on mine, with some macro shots,
but yea they should have done things a little different

I am going to take more shots later today, I guess I will play around
with the joy stick, the only problem I have had, is sometimes the
"AF/AF Macro/MF" button in macro mode, sometimes does not work
the first time, and I have to press it again, but so far that only seams
to happens in Macro mode.

You need to press and hold for about 2 full seconds before it kicks in!
