In the sink:
All pictures were taken with F2.8, 1/1000s, internal flash, and tripod. I filled a pot with water, put it into the sink beneath the faucet and let the drops fall into it. #1 ![]() #2 ![]() #3 ![]() #4 ![]() #5 ![]() |

Thanks!
I took about 90 shots, but it's quite easy to get pictures like this. Put a finger (or anything else) at the place where the drops hit the water and focus on the finger. Find out the best focal length to get the whole thing on the chip. All you further need is a good timing to hit the shutter release at the right time, but that's not too difficult. |

Crystal clear great shots.
F 2,8 works fine at non full zoom (you used it at about 3x zoom) Thanks for sharing, very good series Narmer MY MACROS |

Very nice Stoney! I wonder if shining a colored light on the water would give it some different effects!? Jim

Wow, really great shots. Manual focus is the one thing I wish my FZ5 had; these shots would be tough to do with auto focus!
I would like to see a crop of the free-falling drops in #3 an #4; you might see a self-portrait... |

Thanks all!

![]() The FZ3 has no manual focus. But it's no problem. I held my finger at the place where the drops hit the water and focused on the finger (with the focus button). |
