and a fine attempt too jj, love the blossoms in trees this time of year, i find flowers the hardest thing to photograph. i dont own a macro-converter for my fz100 yet, but i feel its what i need to make any headway in flower photography. great shot here and love the little fly enjoying some sunshine on the petal

A lovely shade of blue in the sky sets the flowers off well.
Also, does not look over-sharpened to me, but then I don't see things all that sharp so maybe I wouldn't know.
