Hi, I'm having a hard time trying to capture some pictures of squirrels......There isn't much contrastand they like to stay in the shade. I guess that's natures way of protecting them..I would appreciate any suggestions....Here are a few pictures... bentleysmom

Apart from being just a bit cropped, whats wrong with them???

Lovely pictures that really capture the character of these creatures. I think you should just keep on trying, as you seem to be really getting there! I'd be well happy with them!

Good luck, Woody

Hi, I just logged in on another computer to see the pictures and they look alot better on this screen. I guess I have a computer screen problem.....The first picture was not cropped at all. The other two were cropped very little. I had fun taking these pictures as they are interesting little creatures. You wonder what's going on in there mind as I'm snapping away. Pappy, what kind of filter would you have used and what would it do? Thanks for compliments, y'all. I took a 256 card full of pictures of squirrels that day playing around with different settings.....sometime going back to the "dummy" mode just to hopefully get a picture and to read what those settings were to try to understand my new camera. bentleysmom

Agree with Pappy - I don't know if they get much better than this! Excellent!
