saw a strange orange/pink light outside this evening and stepped outside to find the strangest color sun, casting a weird pink glow over everything from between the dark thunder clouds that are gathering ...

That is strange. Don't know where you are at, but in my part of the country that would be dust blowing in ahead of the storm. Don

Jaseyboy, Don's right about the dust, it's what a approaching dust storm looks like in Arizona also ! Jim

Hey guys
Very interesting! I'm in Cape Town, South Africa so not too many dust storms around here ... but it HAS been very windy. And though thunder clouds were gathering, nothing happened - no rain, no thunder, no lightning, no hail. Weird. What's that old saying ... "red sky at night, shepherd's delight - red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning" ? |
