Port Lincoln Parrots, known asTwenty Eightsbecause of their cry.
Difficult to get good shots because they are quite timid although there are lots of them about.....I think they are checking up on my almond tree which is in flower! Fred |

Yes they are wild and native to the SW corner of Australia from mid-South Australia, lower Northern Teritories and across the bottom half of WA. As I said, very timid and I only managed to get one photo before they spooked....Fred |
