Please forgive the poor quality pictures as the weather was overcast and about an hour before a storm. Also forgive my poor photographic skills.
This is just to update a previous post I had read elswhere. Those are NOT small buidlings beside the CN Tower those are all SKY SCRAPERS ! |

Actually, Taipei 101, in Taiwan, is the tallest building in the world... interesting pics of the CN Tower, though.

There was another thread about this somewhere. Technically there are radio/tv towers that are higher. In the building category the Tapei 101 is tallest, in free-standing "structure" (meaning no wires holding it up like a tv/radio tower) it is the CN Tower...that might clear a bit up.

Hmmmmmmmm, there seems to be much criticisim about what a building is ?
What is a building ? The CN Tower has a large main floor withbasements etc. That main ball is HUGE I belive 3 leves. Then there is theupper ball it is only for observation itlooks small in the picture but its a decent size, I have to look up the height for that second ball. |

Ok, I could not resist I had too look up the definition of a building in the dictionary here it is.
Building n 1: a structure that has a roof and walls and stands more or less permanently in one place; "there was a three-story building on the corner"; "it was an imposing edifice" |
