we got a light dusting of snow last nite, though by the time i got outside it was mostly melted. anyway, i wanted to try to get some pics to capture the Christmas atmosphere, so i hung a couple of ornaments on a fir tree in my back yard and took a few shots. not quite the effect i wanted - the snow is kinda blown, and there's not really enough of it - but for a first try, i'm not too unhappy. i think i'll wait for another snowfall, when there's a bit more of the white stuff, and try it again...

Not a bad try at all.... if it had settled then I think the picts would have been prefect the good ol christmas cards.

I think they both look good Squirl ! The first one has just enough snow to let you know it's winter! Jim

Both look good to me. You mightput the ornaments out the night before the next snow.

style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"Really the only snow in Australia mainland is in the Snowy Mountains in the South of NSW and into Victoria.This is a real snow scene with winter sports and activities. It is often quoted that the snow area is bigger than Switzerlands'
