I read somewhere that putting two pieces of exposed flim negatives will create a filter similiar to an IR filter.
SO I gave it a try with my FZ5, and did some Photoshop alterations.... I am not sure if this can be considered IR photography or not, comments? |

COOL!!
![]() I don't know if it qualifies as IR (not my area of expertise) but I really like the effect. Very creative! I especially like #2. |

Ok, here the original photo, cropped and resized though. What happened to our IR gurus here?

Try photo graphing a low watt light bulb in the same frame asa popsicle. Two extreme differences in heat. That should give you a clue as to whether or not you are on the right track.

WOW how you edit the original photo to looks like the one from the first post.
It seems that this negative realy do the job (maybe not as a rela IR but it maked the sceene look "strange") |

used the photoshop actions from this site : http://www.outdooreyes.com/photo94.php3
And from this site: http://www.rit.edu/%7Eandpph/text-infrared-filter.html the writer did some wavelength test and recommended usign 2 pieces together. I admit the pictures aren't sharp but gives a unique effect.... a bit like IR i suppose. |
