TZ1 LCD is Black!!!

So my wife turns on the trusty TZ1 the other day and the LCD is not working right. I thought it was in "power save mode" because the screen did not light up. Come to find out, the screen is working, its the blacklight that is broke. I had to look into the screen wearing a headlamp to notice that it was not completely black.

Thats just great. I am really bummed out because I really, REALLY enjoy my TZ1. Come Monday I guess I have to call Panasonic.
