Nice capture Jerry, and it is a ugly duckling for sure. The photo looks washed out on my monitor. Was it near dark when you took the photo or is it my monitor?

Frankly, when I read the headline, I thought, well, if he is photograping it, it can´t be that ugly. Man was I wrong!
This is quite an unsual duck, I´d say there is the result of some hanky panky between turkey and duck, but that is probably out of the question. Genetically impossible. Wow, thanks for the unusual Duck... And it`s a marvel what you did considering the low light.
