"Urban Sprawl" has claimed another big chunk of farm land close to my city. As I was driving about, I saw buldozers opening new roads and demolishing the farm house and barns. It was sad to see them in big piles waiting for the trucks to take them away. I've managed to take some pictures ofobjects that once had some value in some ones life.

So sorry to hear that areas of your country are suffering the same fate at the hands of developers as is happening here.At least you have plenty of wilderness areas that will stay relatively safe - here I imagine the UK will end up as one huge city eventually.

Nice shots Emmanuel, I particularly like 1 and 4, the snow adds brightness to the shots despite what looks like dull light conditions.

Thanks for your kind words Mark. Its true, Canada has plenty of space for expansion and wilderness, but never the less its sad to see farms being destroyed.

A nice collection of memory shots. Where I grew up one used to be able to walk in fields and past sheep and cows, but now it is all stores or fancy housing. That oil/gas tank in the first picture: we used to float down the river on top of one of those when we could find a discarded one. Ah, those were the days.

I'm glad that I was able to bring back good memories Steve.

I think your shots have conveyed your mood and your feelings about this very well. Always great when you can get that emotional connection. The last is my favourite, but I liked the whole series.
