Went to Valley of Fire (50 miles above Las Vegas) on Sunday. Don't know if anyone had been there before but I really love that place and this is my first time bringing a camera that is good enough to show what I saw. First photo is just 20 miles off I-15 before I reached the Valley.

Finally get to the park. It's self pay that cost $6.00 per vehicle. Look beyond the station, you'll see some really really red rocks.

First stop, the Beehives, it was formed by wind and water for about 600 millions years.

Next to the Beehives, if I'm not mistaken, this rock was called "Poodle Rock". May be I should hike to look from different angle....

The next stop is "Seven Sisters". Just like the name, there are seven rocks stand next to each other. I was just too late when I got there and afraid it's going to be dark soon so I only took the picture of these two.

This is the only kind of flower I found in the valley. the real thing is very small (about 2/8 of an inch in diameter). I don't know the name though.
I don't want to load too many photo in the same topic due to the internet speed so I'll continue this series in part 2. Thank you for visiting.... |

Nice pics dude. I really like the panorama shot ya did. All of them make me want to just start hiking all over in that area.
