Walking in Venice
 

This is the city where I was born (and I had living there for my first 27 years), and this afternoon i make a little walk..., unfortunately the weather was predominantly cloud.

Wow! Stunning! Congratulations!:)
I'm curious why you use spot metering mode and always negative exposure bias... does it works better for this kind of picture? i've never used the spot metering. It's hard to choose a favorite, but the #7 sharpness is really impressive.

Great City shots. I always interested in to take a tour to Venice. Especially in summer evening touring with boat around city taking the pics. May be one of these days!!!

P.S. No.6 & 8 would be the first one I'd like to take pic at night time with lights.

@ Electrolyte: I prefer a little underexpose always, because the FZ45 tend to overexpose, and for the spot-metering is a my bad habit :o (I have posted now to your email ;))

Wow.. stunning.. I've always wanted to tour Italy. Venice being one of the cities... hmmmmmm mom wants to know what I want for my B-day in two weeks Trip to Italy.. lol.. can't afford the time off tho right now. Not to mention I'd need my passport.

I love number #2 and would love to see some night shots... I bet it would look even more stunning.

Beautiful images of a beautiful city. You are very lucky to have lived in such a place.

If I had to be picky, some of the shot look slightly over-exposed (IMHO). #13, 14 and 15 look perfect though, maybe it was the weather.

@Saly: yes i know that some shots came overexposed a little, but the weather was mischievous :o

Well... which one is overexposed? They seems perfectly exposed to me. Some of them has some parts overexposed, but i think it's intentional, otherwise the subject would be underexposed. But i'm not certain, so, which ones are not perfect?
