the view from my front porch finally changed! it's pitch dark, and i'll have to hope things stay the same till tomorrow morning to get some daylight photos, but for now, this is it ... my daughter will no doubt be thrilled at having a "snow day", especially this early in the year! :G

That is a gorgeous photo. It is as if the tree is being decorated with christmas lights, against a backdrop of lights. The flash really accented the snow.
