Impossible to chose the best one: too different from each others, too nice all of them.
But maybe the DFlies picsare better when shoot with no add lens (they ve got great wings). Congratulations |

Thanks Narmer! Your right about the dragonfly wings. Next time I'm going to go for the whole body and wings. I was really surprised I was able to get anyhing in the breeze that was blowing! Jim

All your shots are great! Can't really tell if it was you or the thorn the Owl was setting on that made it mad, - Don

Overall very nice series tiger98!
Just some comments, and hope you don't mind. #1: What is the subject? The shot is captured technically well as the white stringy things are detailed and sharp....but what is it do you want the viewer to see? The white pods? The green seeds? As I learnt from www.nyip.com, it mention that you must decide what your subject is, and how to make the viewer see that, and simplfy the shot. #2: is very clear on the subject as the focus IS on the seeds. Simplying it would help. The left side has a distracting sting of white entering the frame...if it is cropped out or cloned out, is it better? #3 and #5: The lighting is rather harsh. The shadows are quite dark. Some fill flash would help lighten up the shadows. #6: Is a BEAUTY! The eyes does make the shot stand out! Well taken for this shot! rgds CY |
