what software to convert panasonic fz35 videos
 
hi friends ,had recently bought a Panasonic fz35 and i must say i m very happyt with its performance.

i wud like to know 1 thing from u Panasonic users that when i record a movie it does in .MTS , now what software should i use to convert it and store in in my disk or view it...... any recommendations?

the thread is really long and too much for an amateur like me to understand.
i just need to know what converter to use. without spoiling the quality.
i used alok but the conversion to .avi was bad:(

Any conversion will loose you quality. However, out of the free conversion tools I find this works the best for me for converting to DVDs (it converts to AVI too), http://www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/

The free version of Splash player (Splash Lite) will allow you to watch your movies on your PC without the need to convert them (assuming your PC is up to the job),

will try it

also can one extend a lens in afz35 .like add an additional one for extra quality and zoom( sorry if it sound syupid but a novice here)

also and thread where i can lean how to use the fz35 for different moments like night day dark places .as there are so many mode(M,S,A,SCN) on the cam but i dont know what mode is used for what..

so a simple thread may help many amateurs like me

I play the videos with GOM player or vlc player they both work good and they are free, i havent converted anything yet
