Very nice pictures Annie. With a close-up lens you would of had better success! Keep on posting.

Nice first Photo's of butterflies Annie, you definitely need to get a close up lens, A Nikon 3t or 4t, or an Oly Mcon 40 would fit the 30 fine The Nikon 5t and 6t or the Oly Mcon 35 would need a 55 to 62mm step up ring.
Here is a couple of Galleries using the FZ20 or 30 and Nikon close ups, from the Wings of Paradise or Niagara Falls Conservatory. http://atomicfish.smugmug.com/gallery/235573 http://atomicfish.smugmug.com/gallery/737293 |

Nice shots Annie. Looks like you had a nice outing with your daughter. Could not pick a favorite, there all so pretty. I don't think I've ever seen an ughy butterfly. Keep on posting.

Nice captures Annie! I like to spend a lot of time in the butterfly exhitbits we have around here. It's amazing how many pictures you can take in a short time! :-) Jim
