Had a planning day on Wednesday and we managed to find a place to run the day........the Melbourne Zoo.
I did get a chance to get out and about at lunch time and shot off a couple....bit dark, so the tiger cubs running around were an impossible target.....and even Mum was a bit soft (1/60 with TCON) ![]() Of course the butterfly house is always fun (only got 1/15 at f5 on the first) ![]() (must have got my breathing right at 1/10 and of course OIS helps) ![]() (1/125 was better) ![]() Oh well back to work we went, but on the way ![]() and that was about it, apart from a grin from the elephant ![]() -- cheers Rafael (FZ30) http://rafael.zenfolio.com/ (referral code on my page) |

Great shots Rafael, I agree with mark on the elephant but also like the expression on the bird.

Looks like a hard day at work it was. I like the bird and the last butterfly. That second butterfly might be a wee bit soft but it is such a pretty thing you can get away with it. The elephant appears to have a twinkle in his eye to go with the grin.

Thanks Steve, yeah you are right, a little soft in parts but what the heck, the colours make up for it.
