Beautiful images, Walter. I too love my G1. Unfortunately, I don't live in such a picturesque place. Ordo might be happy since he was asking for some landscape images from this camera.

You might want to start a new thread named...G1 in Norway!

I'm happy indeed, Tullio. Such an incredible detail and color rendition. I may be picking a GH1 with a two lenses kit, since I love video for family occasions.
I ask myself if there’s an adaptor for my Mamiya 7, 6X7 lenses (65 and 150). I doubt it.

I'm not familiar with the Mamiya family of cameras. Do they have a proprietary mount? Many manufacturers of film cameras such as Ricoh, Cosina, etc., standardized their lenses on the Pentax mount. If Mamiya did the same, as long as you know which brand they standardized on (most likely Pentax if they did that), then any adapter for that brand (either screw or bayonet mount) to the micro 4/3 will work.

Well, Sarah Joyce I don't know what to say other than congrats on the new cam and those pics posted by Walter even surpass what he has posted before and I wouldn't have believed that possible! A re-write of the English dictionary is required here to include new superlatives for the present ones are now woefully inadequate. I don't quite know what to say really as I'm stunned and overwhelmed.

Walter has more icons on his monitor than I have pixels.

Best to all,

Almar.

Thanks, Donalduc-

Those are really nice GH-1 images. The color is excellent.

Have a great weekend.

Hello everyone, I have just purchased my GH1 camera and I'm starting to study it. My native language is Russian so I would like to put the OSD menu in Russian for a start. Is it possible? I don't have this language in the language menu, but maybe I could get some other firmware adding other languages? Thanks for your help.
