With the Tokina 80-400 on the GH1:
1. Which mount are you using?
2. What brand adapter are you using?
3. Does AE operate in aperture priority mode?
4. Does AF operate?
5. Do you find it usable handheld?
6. Given a desire for handheld operation with AE in aperture priority mode, what lens/adapter combo do you recommend?
thanks,
Bill

I'm using Canon EOS mount. Adapter - all manual.

If you want to use an aperture other than wide open, you must it predefine with a Canon DSLR.
Or you use manual EOS lenses (f.e. Samyang 85mm/1.4, Samyang 8mm/3.5, ...)

I think GH1 / G2 are the best cameras ... with best viewer/display ... let's wait for GH2 :-)

It is quite amazing what you can do with your GH 1, DD! I like every picture here, and specially the 'buttery' Bokeh in picture # 1 and # 6.
One would think they have been taken by a 'fully fledged' APS-C sensor and a lens with f:2.8 and not with m4/3 and 14-140mm f:4.0
)

Thanks for posting these great pictures!
