I was just looking at some of the info on this lens, very interesting. And on the ep-l1 it would make a great fast prime at 100mm range.

That's a very impressive image. The reasons to pick up one of the mFT cameras keep right on growing.

Apparently, this lens was originally designed for machine vision inspection equipment:

If so, then those specs say it's a manual iris lens. I.e. when you stop down the iris the viewfinder will get darker, which can be a problem for manual focus. Probably OK as long as you only plan to shoot it wide open.

also, from what i have seen, its just a rebranded and remounted closed-circuit tv lens and one that isnt supposed to be all that sharp.

my excitement for this is gone
