To cover that range, I think my choice will be either the new Pana 100-300mm designed for the m4/3 system or the Oly 70-300mm 4/3 with an adapter (I believe this is one of the few 4/3 lenses to AF on the G1 with the adapter).
Cheers Tullio! Shooting at 300mm is tough hand-held, but I think the 210mm is just about manageable.... naturally, it depends how many cups of coffee I've had how steady the images are

Joking aside, it's not easy framing at the long end, and I can see the OIS being very useful.... however, I can also see Panasonic charging a premium for their 100-300 when it comes out (personally I'd prefer this to the Olympus on the GH1) and my 'vintage' lenses have only set me back 35 - for both!!

For that money, and judging by the fact that the images aren't that bad (when I get the focusing right!), I'm happy with my telephoto-on-a-budget for now

Thank goodness for that! It is a nice looking lens, in first class condition, with smooth zoom and focus, that seems to be pretty sharp wide open... can't be bad for only 10 (with hood!!)
