koolpc-

I seriously looked at the G-10 and then crossed it off the list due to its lower ISO capability. I had a G-1 earlier, and was not blown away by it at all. I ended up selling it off at a loss. I think that the G-10 would make me very dependent on a good external flash. Give us a report on how you get on with the G-10.

And congratulations on your new G-10 purchase.

Well, took the camera out yesterday and was very disappointed with how slow it is. Hated the EVF in 'real life'.

Pics looked really good when i put them on the pc last night but no way could i live with the EVF / slowness of it so i took it back to the camera shop today and managed to exchange it for a Canon 500D body.

I already own a non IS canon lens so i will try that out for a bit and then buy a nice IS lens 'walkabout' one.

Hope you finally found a camera you are happy with. It is a very good camera.

Would love to find a nice 'Walkabout' lens for it now.
