We should note that Panleica uses 20 lp/mm and 40 lp/mm. This lens is not better than Olympus 14-54 but not worse either. Olympus version has weatherseal, and Leica has OIS

Compare to Nikkor ED 17-55/2.8 DX

Nikkor uses 10 lp/mm and 30 lp/mm for the modulation

Canon also uses 10 lp/mm and 30 lp/mm

I'm sorry, i'm total novice, but does mtf tell the leica lens to be superior or just a so so lens??
