Hello everybody!

I am afresh registered memberin this forumbut I have read many times the essencial topics.

I have a question. I am willing to buy a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7, and I want to ask the wise men here can I use a 4 GB SD card on it. Because I know that with the 2 GB there are no problems but with a 4 GB I am not sure.

Hi Ruby

Not so sure about 4GB SD cards on the FZ7 as I was only aware of the L1/FZ50/LX2 being able to use the new HIgher capacity cards. I'd get 2 fast (100x speed or higher ) x 2GB SD cards instead.

FZ7 will only use up to 2 GB.

For newer models that can use larger, be sure to use 4 GB SDHC cards.

The generic "SD" or "High Capacity SD" WILL NOT work. Such cards will include the "SDHC"logo as shown here:
